I've been noticing that web 2.0 tools help to get a student-centred classroom environment. Web 2.0 tools grant students communicate effectively and stimulate them to achieve the lesson objectives. They promote collaborative learning and a meaningful learning process. As our students have been raised on ICT, they are multi-task, digital natives and it's important they develop their knowledge and skills that enable them to use ICT efficiently and effectively. It's no longer enough to simply transmit information that students memorize and store for future use. Schools must provide every student with an effective education. So, teachers need to challenge themselves by experimenting and creating disruptive teaching methodologies. Teachers need to be inspiring and come up with classroom activities that fit students'potential and boost their ego,while they get ready to work as global citizens.
