About Me
I am a teacher at Carlos Amarante High School and currently I teach English as a foreign languge in vocational courses and courses for Education and Formation of Adults.
We belive that communicating effectively in English, together with using new technologies effectively and efficiently is vital to meet the job market challenges. Here, we intend to collect and share our best knowledge and classroom practices.
Students need to participate in lessons that require them to construct and organise knowledge; that engage them in detailed research and analysis, and that ask them to take part in meaningful projects. Since 2010, we have been participating in the project Connecting Classrooms, which promotes a collaborative learning experience across borders, helping to develop trust and understanding among young people from different societies, while deepening the knowledge of their own cultural roots.
